How insanely annoying is it to scroll down a page and have your cursor get stuck in the middle of someone’s Google Map, only to discover you can’t scroll down on the page anymore because you are zooming in and out of the map?

A handy fix was provided by czerasz on StackOverflow. You click the map to enable the zooming of the map and then when the mouse exits the map, normal page scrolling resumes and will not affect your interaction with the map again until clicked upon.
